I became a successful businessperson, but I did not start life with this in mind. I was happily working for others until I realised that I had been bullied and coerced all my life. Suddenly I woke up and faced the situation, and thought to myself why not stop looking for happiness in the place where I lost it by working for others, and why not have a go at doing my own thing and go with the flow of any demands that come in the door. At least that way I am in control of my own future. After a few years I decided to write a book and fill it with various short stories of my life, including the ups and downs, and how by looking at my life from outside of the box, everything started to make sense.

How to fail in business has been written based upon experiences I have encountered throughout my working life. As such it will go back a long way with actual facts but no business names, (as much as I would love to put some in). This latest episode in my life really gave me the inspiration to put pen to paper on a subject that I hold very close to my heart, and bear in mind that although the title states business, a lot of the facts I cover will be in general management as well.
